The writer also claims that under the rising Hindu nationalism, Christians are facing the worst attack in history in India. This perpetuates the idea that Hindus are extremists against all the minority religions, especially under the current government which is supported by millions of Hindus. In reality, Christians get funding from the government to run their schools and churches while Hindus do not. The author makes it seem as if legitimate police probing into illegal activity is unjust solely because it is done by Hindus against Christians.
