It is also claimed that the intention behind the abrogation of Article 370 was to make it easier for Hindus to move into Jammu and Kashir so as to put down the Muslim population there. No evidence is given for this remark and no mention is made about the fact that this move reestablished rights for many Kashmiris. Moreover, this article is published one day after the Mumbai terror attacks which could imply that the writer was trying to shift the central problem on to the shoulders of Hindus.
