Melshizedek Reyes and Peter Bergman Vandalize and Desecrate Hare Krishna Temple during service.
On May 3, 2013, Melshizedek Reyes, 25, of Volusia County, and Peter Bergman, 54, enters the Hare Krishna temple in Alachua, Florida, while the prayer service is going on.
The two men throw the bleach around the temple and into a decorative fountain in front of the building. They also knock over the shelves holding shoes, and break vases. They take books from the temple and throw them into the fountain, tainted with bleach, destroying the volumes. The men also go into the restroom, defecating on the floor and clogging the toilets.
